Wandegeya-Opposite Ministry of Public Service
Contact UsSpice of Life (SOL) was established in 2013 by its founders, David Mutayisa and Hellen Kisita. Having worked with Lions Aid Norway (LAN) for 18 years, they identified a significant service gap that would be created by LAN's planned termination of activities in Uganda at the end of 2013. The organisation was founded to consolidate and continue those interventions and foster community development and sustainability.
We implement multi-sectoral programmes that combine practical service delivery with local capacity strengthening—so communities benefit today and systems remain strong tomorrow.
Our objectives are multi-sectoral and designed to strengthen essential services and opportunities for communities across Uganda.
Establish Agricultural Centres of Excellence for community empowerment.
Strengthen Eye Health in Uganda.
Provide communities with appropriate and sustainable safe water facilities.
Build school infrastructure and support the education of orphans and vulnerable children.
Our values shape how we partner, implement, and serve communities.
This page gives a quick overview of who we are, how we work, and what areas we focus on. For partnership, funding, or field collaboration, the contact page is the fastest route.
