About SPICE OF LIFE
Our mission extends beyond the Charity and into the communities that we serve.
Spice of Life works in cooperation with Lions Aid Norway to support the Government of Uganda to improve the health of the population with emphasis on eye care & Diabetes. Other interventions are in education and safe water
Spice of Life (SoL) supports both the Government and other partners in a meaningful, respectful and participatory way to improve the health (eye care and diabetes) of the population of Uganda using a multi-sectoral approach.
Further intervention is in related sectors as water and sanitation and education. This is because about 30% of the population of Uganda lacks access to safe and clean water. This exposes them to water-borne diseases with dire consequences including lost productive and mortality.
